Kate Winslet to star in a TV mini-series

It seems Oscar favorite actress and very hot British babe Kate Winslet will be making a rare appearance on the small screen, starring in a TV mini-series Mildred Pierce, based on the novel of the same name. The story was previously made into a movie in 1945. No premiere date has been set yet and no network has taken up the mini-series yet, although word is HBO is the likely venue.
